Srinagar, Mar 30: The Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has issued a fresh directive regarding school timings across the Kashmir division, which will come into effect from April 1, 2025.
According to the official order, all government and private schools within Srinagar’s municipal limits will operate from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Meanwhile, educational institutions located outside the municipal limits of Srinagar and in other areas of Kashmir division will follow a revised schedule of 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
DSEK has instructed all schools to strictly adhere to the new timings. The order further stated that any deviation from the prescribed schedule would be “viewed seriously.”
The announcement aims to streamline academic activities and ensure uniformity in school operations across the region. School authorities and parents have been advised to take note of the changes and make necessary adjustments accordingly.
