The Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has officially invited online applications for admission to 12th-based Paramedical Diploma Courses for the academic session 2025. These programs include X-ray Technician, Dental Assistant, ECG Technician, Medical/Pharma Assistant, Lab Assistant, and Medical Record Technician (MRT). The admissions will be conducted in Government and Private Colleges/Institutions of UT of J&K and Ladakh, as per the JKBOPEE Act, 2002 and related regulations.

How to Apply for JKBOPEE Paramedical Diploma Courses 2025?

Eligible candidates can apply online by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official JKBOPEE website: www.jkbopee.gov.in
  2. Download and read the e-Information Brochure carefully.
  3. Click on the ‘Apply Online’ link and fill in the required details.
  4. Upload scanned copies of required documents in PDF format (size: 100-200 KB).
  5. Pay the application fee of Rs. 1000 via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
  6. Submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria for JKBOPEE Paramedical Diploma Admission 2025

For 12th-Based Paramedical Diplomas:

  • The candidate must be a domicile of UT of J&K or UT of Ladakh.
  • Should not be older than 35 years as of 1st January 2025.
  • Must have passed 10+2 with science subjects from a recognized Board.
  • Candidates appearing for the 12th exam in 2025 can also apply, but they must qualify before the result declaration.
  • Should be medically fit.

For Medical Record Technician (MRT) Course (SKIMS only):

  • The candidate must be a domicile of UT of J&K or UT of Ladakh.
  • Age limit: 17 to 28 years as of 31st December 2025.
  • Must have passed 10+2 (any stream) with 50% marks (40% for reserved category).
  • Candidates appearing for the 12th exam in 2025 can also apply, but they must qualify before the counseling session.
  • Should be medically fit.

Documents Required for Online Application

Candidates need to upload the following documents while filling out the application form:

  • Domicile Certificate (or ST Certificate for Ladakh candidates).
  • 12th Class Marksheet (if result declared).
  • Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation Certificate).
  • Valid Reserved Category Certificate (if applicable).
  • Any other relevant documents.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus

  • The entrance exam will be conducted offline.
  • The syllabus and exam pattern are available in the e-Information Brochure.
  • The test will be of 2 hours duration, consisting of 120 multiple-choice questions.
  • The tentative number of seats and reservation policies are also mentioned in the brochure.

Exam Centers for JKBOPEE Paramedical Exam 2025

The examination will be held at multiple centers across J&K and Ladakh, including:

  • Jammu
  • Srinagar
  • Doda
  • Rajouri
  • Anantnag
  • Baramulla
  • Leh (if required)

Note: If the number of applicants is low in a particular center, the board may cancel that center and reassign candidates accordingly.

Admit Card and Exam Date

  • The admit card download notification will be issued separately.
  • Candidates must regularly check the JKBOPEE website for updates regarding the exam date, venue, and timings.

Sports and Reserved Category Guidelines

  • Candidates applying under the sports category must submit their certificates to the J&K Sports Council for evaluation.
  • Candidates with multiple reserved category certificates can avail of only one at the time of application.
